Anonymous asked: what kind of mascara do you usually use?
I have now fully commited to Dior Iconic OVERCURL mascara!! I have never used a mascara this long! Well except for Tartes Lights, Camera, Lashes. Benefit’s They’re Real, completes my top 3 (: They are all worth the price
Anonymous asked: I love your blog so much!! I don't know if you have answered this or not but what do you use for your eyebrows? I wondered if you could help because I have really dark eyebrows but I'm not sure what colour I should use on them?
Thank you!!!! I change it up all the time so I never mind answering this question.
In most of my pictures I am either using Makeup Forever AquaBrow orrr, Anastasia Brow Wiz (:
I love them both, A LOT buuuuut I just tried Anastasia’s Brow Genius and I think this one takes the cake.
Its like a powder and serum you mix together to get the consistency of your liking and then you apply. I like this one more than both because A. I like applying a liquid brow, which is why I like it more than the Brow Wiz pencil and B. because I like that it doesn’t dry as fast as AquaBrow does, making it more manageable for me(:
If you have really dark eyebrows then either use the darked color you can find, and if they arent that dark then you should use the one before it. I would definitely say get the color lighter the one that is for your brow color, I hope that helps!
Anonymous asked: Hi, I love your blog! I was wondering if you could help me, I am very pale with red cheeks and a red nose, do you know any foundations, cream anything that could make my skin look more nicer, but that will look natural?
Hello!! Thank you so much! I would say it depends on your skin type but I’m going to reccommend some for both and if you have normal skin then you could go either way (:
dry: Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation (very thick so it will cover redness), Cover FX cream or liquid, Makeup Forever pro finish( can use wet or dry), Smashbox Studio Skin 15hr foundation.
oily: Kat Von D( for dry or oily) this one is probably my best reccommendation for you, but it isnt ideal for every day necessarily because it is quite thick. It doesn’t feel like it it but after the second day in a row of wearing it I didn’t like how it looked on my skin sooo for occassions, this foundation will NEVER let you down.
anywho, Makeup Forever Mat Velvet, Cover Fx Powder or Cream foundation, Lancome Tiente Idole, or Revlon Colorstay.
Those are all very nice foundations, you could honestly get amazing results out of any of those.
Some people say to get a green primer for your reddness, maybe go to a Sephora if you have one near and get a couple different samples and see if you like them, or if they even make a difference in how your makeup ends up looking. I would say Mufe green primer for waterbase and Smashbox green primer for silicone base.
I really really hope this helps!!!
Anonymous asked: I' m sure you've been asked this a million times, but would you be willing to make (more) makeup tutorials?
Yes I want everyone to know that my semester at school ends the 22nd, and I am going to start doing to constant makeup tutorials all summer. Its a personal goal of mine. (: Right now I just feel like school is holding me back :/
Anonymous asked: SORRY MY ANSWER GOT CUT OFF PT2. I have those little tiny wholes in my face and I would like something that wouldn't sink into them and show them also to cover my problem areas. I have oily skin. And my under eyes tend to crease alot and I always get a line on the side of my lips (idk why) so what should I try? Please give me some inexpensive and expensive things to try that you feel will work. Because the people at macys obviously don't know. Thank you so much for your time. Xo
Oh oops I didn’t see the rest of this. Try the Line and pore targeted Primer from Smashbox. With that, you can also try Revlon Colorstay foundation for Oily Skin gurl. The Kat Von D and MUFE full coverage concealers are very good and do not crease!
Anonymous asked: Hello I'm wondering/hoping you can help me!! I recently purchased the Elizabeth Arden primer and I use it with the Dermablend cream foundation. Every time I use this I see as it sinks into my pores and starts to crease alot I tried it with and without powder on top :/. Can you help me with a good primer and foundation for my skin? Details) I'm ivory, I get pores but not really big ones I have acne scars and those little holes in my face
Hello! First, return that ish right away if you haven’t. Second gurl I recommend COVER FX primer for you! Well wait, if you are acne prone I would recommend the cover fx primer. If its just acne scars and pores, then just the Porefessional from benefit(: Now for a foundation I could also say Cover FX, since you say you have the little holes in your face, that may be from acne I’m guessing? It sounds like Cover FX is definitely the brand for you. Also even Kat Von D foundation(:
Anonymous asked: How do you apply your winged eyeliner so perfectly? I always accidentally get it on my eyelashes then it's a clumpy mess.
Well thank you so much for that! I actually get eyeliner on my lashes everytime lol I would say if it gets to a point where its getting all over your lids and messing you up, just take the accidental liner off your lashes right after it gets on there. I usually just wait till the end and get it all off(:
Anonymous asked: I know this is probably a weird question but what eyeliner do you use? I love your blog by the way:)
Thats not a weird question omg lol!! I use Sephora Brand liquid liner. I used to use elf but Sephora’s dries matte. AND my heart will always go for matte before anything else(: I also just made a FAQ if you guys wanted to check that sh!t out(: also thanks for the compliment, yoou know I appreciate it so much(::
Anonymous asked: it's my dream to work at sephora. can you tell what the interview is like, what they ask, and what work experience you should have?
Sure!! Well just so you know, I don’t think I got the regular experience. I think they were just power hiring for seasonals for holiday. 1, its a group interview. No one else showed up to mine lol so it was one on one. Then usually you have a second interview I believe. That is after they do some serious reference checking as well! I just had experience with restaurants, but I was still able to incorporate that with customer service.
As far as the interview, there are many questions. All pretty general, they give you scenarios like what would you do if your friend wanted YOUR employee discount, what if someone dropped a fragrance outside of the store and came back wanting a new one.. just random things like that. Also like what is something that happened where it was a big accomplishment for you in the workplace, what sets you back. Random stuff gurlll. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you want more in depth details(:
Anonymous asked: Hello! So for prom I have this dark red dress. I have brown eyes and a tan complexion. I've heard a kit of people say do red lipstick with your red dress but that doesn't work for me, it's just not my style. So I am going to do really smoky eyes but what color should my lips be?? Thanks! Love your blog!
Thank you very much!! Well if you don’t want red lips then for your smoky eye combo I’d say just do a nude. Which For prom I would say its perfect because you aren’t taking too much away from your dress, more so pulling it all together with a sultry eye and nude lip(: I hope you have so much fun gurl! Man I remember my prom… lol
